Silverlady would like to thank 2 Yorks for the great night.
Rick has recently attended the Boxing Event in Cyprus. He really enjoyed the event and thought that 2 Yorks had done a fantastic job.
As Proud Sponsors of Royal Military Academy of Sandhurst we are looking forward to the 25th March this Year. We are busy preparing all the awards for the upcoming Boxing Event in March.
Recently we received a thank you email from one of our customers.
The COs salver has arrived this morning in it’s presentation box. Thank you so very much for the work and effort you have invested to get his piece produced, all against seemingly impossible deadlines. Please forward your invoice to me as soon as practicable and I will do the rest. There were a number of business cards in the box and I will distribute these across the Regt to my counterparts within the other Squadrons. If you have any advertising posters or pictures that I can print off here, I’m more than happy to spread the word about the excellent service that you have provided.
Once again, very many thanks for your efforts and I hope to hear from you soon,
Capt Steve Condliffe
As Silverlady is getting more and more involved in military boxing events we was honoured to be invited last night to the Legends of Boxing Evening for the President’s Sporting Club held at The Manor of Groves Hotel and Country Club , High Wych, Hertfordshire.
Our director Rick Jennings was sat top table with Frank Bruno , Dave Boy Green, Charlie Magril, John H Stracey also with CO and RSM 13 Air Assault.
We were in good company with John H Stracey originally from Bethnal Green, East London began boxing at age 11. 5 Times National champion and Welterwieght champion of the world !!!
Also it was great to meet Dave “Boy” Green (born David Robert Green on 2 June 1953) is a former British welterweight boxing champion and businessman. Born in Chatteris, Cambridgeshire, a small fenland town, he boxed as the “Fen Tiger”. Who also once fought John H Stacey who was also at the boxing evening.
Not forgetting Franklin Roy “Frank” Bruno MBE (born 16 November 1961) the president of the Presidents sporting club. is a British former boxer whose career highlight was winning the WBC heavyweight championship in 1995 (which he lost six months later in his first defence). Altogether, he won 40 of his 45 contests. Like Henry Cooper before him, Bruno has remained a popular celebrity with the British public since his ring career ended.
It was great to see these sporting “Legends” supporting this great event, it was great to be asked to be a part of this event watch this space !
